Today more than ever stress and illness abound and healing on all levels is paramount. Angela's strong desire to help those in the pursuit of health and happiness by raising their level of awareness is what drives her to continue the "healing journey".

So from a dedicated nursing background caring for seriously ill high dependency patients including palliative care to further complementary studies in Traditional Chinese Massage and Oriental Aromatherapy including etheric healing techniques in Kinesieology, Angela now has another alternative to 'conventional drug therapy' to offer those in need.

Angela Power has a background spanning over 25 years as a health professional focused on a career in primary care medical nursing for over 15 years and as a natural therapist since 1988. In addition to 'Touch of Power Therapies', Angela also operates the 'Garden Apothecary', an essential oil and aromatherapy skin care business.

Angela's desire to become an Aromatherapy Practitioner became evident when on a working holiday in London she completed an aromatherapy course with Shirley Price Aromatherapy which sparked her interest leading to a full diploma course with the Institute of Traditional Herbal Medicine and Aromatherapy. During this time she was privileged to undergo training with Gabriel Mojay author of "The Spirit of Aromatherapy". She has been practicing aromatherapy with oriental medicinal principles for over 20 years coupled with further studies in Traditional Chinese Massage. These skills have been invaluable in the task of addressing Physical, Mental, Emotional and Spiritual imbalance.

In addition, consolidated techniques include Oriental Remedial Massage, Advanced Myofascial Technique, Vibrational Kinesieology, Swedish & Beauty Massage and Spa treatments. So passionate is Angela about aromatherapy that she continues to practice her art, having a loyal following of visitors from near and far to the Montville area of the Sunshine Coast Hinterland.
